I am a twenty-something mom of 2. I love writing and photography and using big words that don’t actually exist just to see if anyone catches on. I sometimes stare at textured walls and make up elaborate stories based on the characters I see when my eyes get blurry. I dream to one day spend the summer backpacking through Europe with my entire family. I fall asleep at night by imagining that I’m an airplane.

I am into organic foods, baby wearing, attachment parenting, and cloth diapers, but won’t shove any of them in your face. Anymore.

My favorite foods are orange chicken, pizza, jambalaya, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, and chicken nuggets. Because I’m apparently still 5 years old.

My favorite authors are J. K. Rowling, C. S. Lewis, and D. R. Seuss. (Like that? What I did there? Nice.)

My favorite flavors of ice cream are Ben and Jerry’s New York Super Fudge Chunk and …………nope, there’s not another one.

My littles are Monkey (2 years, daughter) and Blueberry (3 months, son). “Blueberry” is also affectionately known as “Sir Floppy Head.”

I live with my littles, my hubs of four years, and our two gigantic dogs. We are 10 minutes from downtown, White Rock Lake, and both sets of grandparents.
